What: Myopic Madness, micro-mini scale painting

Who: Anyone who wants to come
Why: Because we're crazy enough to want to paint micro-minis??

What does it cost? $20 purchases one of Maggie Bennett's Micro Mini Pewter Sculptures and helps pay for painting supplies.

Should I bring anything? Please bring some food to share so we don't have to go out for lunch.

I don't have the eyesight to paint, can I still come? Yes, please. If you want to come and hang out and visit, please do so, we'd love to have you!

Some more info from Maggie--

We will be providing everything you need to create your own finished work of art. This will include the micro mini, sandpaper and files for prepping, primer, and a variety of paints, as well as some reference materials to give you ideas on what color to paint your horse. We'll also be providing paintbrushes and an airbrush, if you'd like to try your hand at it!

If you have any supplies you would like to bring they would also be welcome! Do you have a box of pastels sitting in your basement that you bought but never got around to trying? Bring them along! Got a bunch of tiny brushes? Those would be very useful! Acrylic paints? Bring them! Got a picture of a gorgeous horse? Bring it along and paint from it!

Absolutely no experience is required--it's fine if this is your first or your five-hundredth time picking up a paintbrush! There will be experience artists on hand to answer questions and help out.

Do you want a specific micro mini? I will have an assortment to choose from, but I don't always have every micro mini that I've sculpted in stock. If you would like a specific one, please contact me at least two weeks ahead of time and I will try to make sure that I have it (due to casting schedules I may not be able to have every micro mini, but I will have most of my newer sculptures available).
